Development Of Printers Over The Years.

Over the years printers have improved massively, they've gone from being wind up printers where you have to physically print your own things out to this day having 3D printers meaning you can form 3D objects via scanning.

The printer in this image is from years ago, you can see that the whole layout is much different than the newer ones, everything is done manually and by hand.this next image is of the brand new 3D printer, it can make and form 2D objects into 3D. 
This is massively different to the older printers, including the graphics, the first image of the old print would have very poor graphics and nothing would be clear and interesting but the new one has tons of graphics, its interesting
and does things no other printer can..

This printer is more more eye catching than the old one, its almost as big but does something completely different.

Graphics.

Graphics plays a big part in technology, with good graphics it makes what you're watching much more interesting and clear to see.the way graphics changes is very clear,
in this photo the graphics on both the characters have changed and you can see the most recent one looks the best and this photo only shows up to 2008 meaning that even now in 2013 the graphics are even better.

Not many people always understand the effect of good graphics, it's only when they watch something with better graphics than they're use to they become more interested and realize the effect that graphics has on games, television program's, computers etc.
a good comparison to look at is the difference between vector and bitmap, this photo clearly shows the difference between the two.
The vector image is more
clear and appealing to look at
than the bitmap/raster image.

Television

Over the years televisions have made a huge change, going from large block shaped televisions to flat screen HD TV's , not only has the outside of them changed the inside has also become much more technical meaning you're able to view things on the screen much clearer now than you could many years ago, below is a photo of a television from around the 70s, and just to the side of it is a photo of a TV from 2013, which one would you prefer?

With the exception of the internet, televisions are one of the best inventions of the 20th century, a lot of people would agree! since the very first television came out till now there are still televisions being created with more and more new idea's and designs.

Mobile and Telephone Development.
Over the years mobile phones have changed and developed drastically, once called 'cellular phones' the device was made to make and receive phone calls over what was called a radio link, the first telephone was made in 1870s and looked like this..

In the 1940s, mobile phones were invented, they were much more handy than the telephones as they were portable and could be used anywhere, over the years mobile phones have developed a large amount from the oldest brick phone to the brand new IPhone 5s that has only recently come out and is extremely popular,this time line shows the difference and change in mobile phones over the years..



In this photo you see how phones have gone from looking like bricks and being massive to gradually getting smaller, thinner and eventually touch screen, the graphics also change massively.
